Meet Susan Jarema, the collaborative entrepreneur behind both New Earth Marketing and the Grand Connection. With over 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, and project management, Susan is deeply passionate about creatively marketing products and services through collaboration.
Her journey began with her very first lemonade stand as a child, where she discovered her entrepreneurial spirit. Since the early days of the internet, Susan has embarked on a remarkable path that led her to meeting Mother Teresa in 1990, sparking a profound shift in her mission to combine business with social good. In 1991, she co-founded As You Like International Shopping Service Ltd., one of the first “Fair Trade” organizations supporting village cooperatives in developing countries to market and sell their sustainable crafts in North America.
Armed with a marketing degree from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from Simon Fraser University, Susan ventured into the world of online marketing and founded Googol Learning. There, she produced the award-winning Googol Power Math Series and developed high-traffic websites to promote family learning and media awareness.
As the President of New Earth Marketing, Susan’s commitment to growth extends further as she embraces technology to help her clients succeed in an ever-changing world by creating high-conversion websites aligned with their brand.
Susan’s creative approach to marketing, alliance building, and her ability to grasp the big picture make her a trusted partner in achieving success. Co-founding the Grand Connection alongside Carolyn Cooper-McOuatt, she provides a platform and skill-based community for entrepreneurs to succeed through collaboration, embracing the power of collective growth.
